For a family of 4, monthly expenses would come in the range of $2,000-2,500, and if you are single then it can be reduced to around $1,000 per month. That is almost 2-3 times more expensive when compared to Thailand. On top of that, crime is a big concern. Although crime rate has fallen steeply in the recent years, organized gangs are still active in the country.
