About %85 of the people who posted on this thread have a uniform amount of merits. Like 100, 250, 1000, 1250, etc. They also seemed to leave the forum right after getting their uniform amount of merits. Anyone have an explanation?
Actually this was a question 4 years ago when the merit system was implemented in this forum, if my memory is not wrong, that time coincided at the end of 2017 the merit system came into effect.
A uniform amount of merit as you mentioned above (100, 250, 1000, 1250) is given by forum admin based on their activity count and rank before the merit system was implemented. You're assuming that there's a large distribution of free merit, but after getting a uniform amount of merit they leave this forum.
It should be underlined, after they get the same amount of merit, their account will never rank up again as long as they don't get additional merits even if their activities reach legendary.
