It's the year of Bitcoin in my opinion because after 2017 Bitcoin just moved flat in the market. In my opinion, the year of Dogecoin is not suitable, because there are still many other Altcoins that have increased positively since the middle of this year. We also don't underestimate Dogecoin which can surprise the market because they can always make a difference.
alot another altcoin have growth bigger than dogecoin, this coin become phenomenon because elon musk shill it regularly. maybe there is no popular figure shill dogecoin , maybe its coin still recognized as shitcoin. but trend or phenomenon that happen to doge coin bring posiitive impact to another coins, investors courage speculate their money into meme coin to huge extra ordinary profits.
I don't think this is the year of doge, even if there are many coins that are like doge coins created but there are also another hype that come after it. NFT is also performing really well, this year so many NFT has reached their new ATH even while the market is in bearish.The hype of NFT is still going on and will probably last until the end of the year and there are many NFT based games that are ready to become big project just like Axie Infinity where it has successfully become a big game project and start the NFT game hype and caused other NFT game projects to be achieving the same success as Axie Infinity. Not only that, there are many NFT art that having really high price.
i am agree this coins be best moment for NFT project. especially in third quarter alot NFT project gain extreme growth only in couple months. Maybe NFT project especially NFT games play to earn be next trend after Defi in last year.
