There's no need to hold altcoins in the long time I think that's right for me. I'll hold them in the short term. When they pump then I'll take profit. They will usually return to the cheap price when bitcoin's bearish trend. So I'm going to sell when it's a bullish trend, so I don't hold it for a long time.
And this is the right attitude to have, too many people have held their altcoins for a very long time and their results are awful, people have finally learned that this is not something that you do if you want to make money with altcoins, this is why in my opinion the cycle of altcoins has accelerated, as people made this realization then that meant that altcoins pump and dump even faster than in the past causing people to lose money even faster than before creating a vicious cycle.
You need to play well when you start realizing this, the cycle always affects every alts inside the market. If you see that it's for the best of your investment better to work it out and find the best strategy in doing this short-term trading, not easy as the volatile activities inside this market is real high, if you made a mistake it surely affects your entire investment.
Plan and keep doing what you already doing best. Rinse and repeat if you see that the system still works. If not, adjust and re-try another pattern and again repeat the cycle back.
