Ah well... is anyone really surprised?

So many newbies participating in this discussion....
Are you guys afraid to reveal your real nick?  Shocked

Personally I'd be more surprised if the project set up in that way would succeed, but the question remains:
Is there a valid idea behind or not?
If there is, something should be done to let the idea live.

By the way "rebranding" this project in order the old investors to have a tiny share and to let the new investor to take over all wouldn't be in old investors interests. So for the first time in the history of this coin I'm seeing something meaningful done. (Personal opinion of course).

The problem Borz now has is that others know the technology. If its any good, and i’ve been informed its a good idea. He’s fucked. As him & Dave sat on their asses for so long doing nothing they have no legal protections in place. The name Xtrabytes, CCRevolution, and Borzolom will become a vastly inferior meme to the Bitconnect one.

XBY is dead. Let’s celebrate that fact & laugh at the bullshit that Dave & Borz produced over the years. Like the time someone tried to mine XBY which halted the chain for nearly two days. Borz’s fix was “posign lite” which in reality was setting mining difficulty to zero.

Yes, I have to confess I was quite puzzled by many things how they were done here.
The fact the tech is known and can be used is good, especially if it's a revolutionary idea.
I sorry for Zoltan if it's so, for all the XBY investors and myself personally, though, since it means we've spent our money for nothing.

From what I’ve heard (and seen) Borz is one of the last people you should feel sorry for. Anger was directed at Dave (some of it rightfully) where most of the anger should have been directed at Borz.

Edit to say: Im sure one day proof will be leaked confirming i’m correct. If i was an investor i’d be looking at legal action.

Borz deserves zero sympathy - he has thrown everyone under the bus. Firstly, he let Dave and the rest of the team take all of the shit for 4 years. Some of it was justifiably thrown at them but they were mostly passing on information given from the founders. Some team members have worked their asses off for months on the plan to move forward and he vetoes it despite talking about decentralisation and decentralised management. It's a fucking joke.

However, his ideas are legit I believe, and so do every past and current team member I have spoken to who had access to the information. I hope it comes to fruition somehow but I very much doubt it.

I know a guy that has understood the idea by analyzing the early published opensource code.
He was offering to me time ago to implement the idea on another coin, but I told him it wouldn't be correct towards XBY team and he agreed.
That dev is quite an important one in the crypto universe, so I believe the idea is valide.
The question is how to develop it in context of XBY.
I think the main error here is that it's close-sourced.
The founders had enough of premine and even close-sourced the idea.
That's a double checkmate and mate they've done to themselves.
If the XBY team doesn't have any legal obligation maybe they can consider to go on developing the project as they like?
(Don't know whether what I'm saying makes any sense though).
