What's next for our decentralised live-streaming solution?
We have spoken about how one of the applications for XTblock lies in creating a decentralised live-streaming video platform, but what makes this solution different?
Blockchain uses a large infrastructure outlay including high-performance computers (CPU/ GPU/ RAM/ Storage/ Network) which are also good for algebraic calculations and fit for computing requirements for AI; however, existing blockchain implementations only use blockchain nodes and networks for the simple purpose of block verification.
XTblock’s core premise is that, with system amendments, the same architecture, miners and infrastructure can be used for distributed problem solving (DPS), like AI computing services and Bot computing services.
But it doesn’t stop there – our network will have a much wider range of applications. What this means is that, beyond a high performance blockchain network, AI computing and bot computing, a powerfully decentralised live-streaming service is also possible, among many other very diverse use cases.
