Nope.

Your assumptions are just not possible. Bitcoin does not have a centralized point of failure, and if there was to be a loophole in the code then a community driven fork can easily correct whatever the flaw is.

But there are just so many other applications of blockchain tech that it seems a bit ridiculous to suggest that if BTC dies everything else would go with it.
You can't set aside such a possibility because we are not sure about the future of crypto or Bitcoin. Without this valuable coin (Bitcoin) the market looks empty. We got this kind of optimism that Bitcoin will not die because we are obviously seeing its good market performance and its huge increase in adoption. But even crypto will die, it wasn't the reason that blockchain technology has to die together because it wasn't just used for Bitcoin alone, this technology had already use in different areas.
