I think they will not satisfy the expectations of their investors. I doubt their ability to compete with smart contracts giants Ethereum and would end like others who tried to do the same. I expect that Cardano's price will lower down once its Smart contracts would be implemented. Better if you take profit now and try to minimize the risk of losing.
that's your hope. but for those who believe in the Cardano community and project of course they hope this update is a success and will build a viable ecosystem.
but I see many also doubt the success of Cardano in this update. this is related to a product from Cardano which is not clear. but why have a large community and market?
