The most interesting concept of NFT at the moment is in the traditional gaming industry, all the characters, items, skins, equipments and skills you own in one game can only be used within that game itself.
But with NFT, all these collections that you have could potentially be transferable and usable in other games as well. One significant difference is the money you spent in one game will not go to waste, while the other risk that are taken off is if the game developers does not want to support the game anymore, your collections can still be used in other games.
At the moment, gaming is the largest potential for NFT, but lets not exclude any possibilities of it being used in other industries.
What I do not really get is that how is the demand is still so high? I meant don't get me wrong it is great for cryptospace that there are still people out there looking to buy NFT, but I do not get how the demand is still so high. Even bitcoin and ETH drops in hype a lot whenever there is a good reason to drop, the hype dies down time to time, and then it goes back up and everyone is hyped again but it is ups and downs.
Looking at things like monkey NFT pictures and all that, it doesn't make sense that something so useless and worthless suddenly becomes a very valuable thing because everyone in the NFT world deems it very worthy, and not like it is a bad investment, people spend 5 ETH on something stupid like picture of a glass, and then they resell it for 30 eth, no idea why they paid 5 eth, but even bigger no idea how they managed to sell it for 30 eth. NFT is definitely not for people who do not get what art is, certainly not for me.
Some people are really looking at things differently. Just like collection of traditional art paintings. Some are willing to spend thousands or millions of dollars just to get a hold of one piece of art. But I have the same sentiments with you, some NFT arts are really not worth buying. But still some people are because maybe, they are hoping that someday, it will be valued much. However, I don't believe that all NFT arts can get good value in the future. So for those buyers, be selective on what you buy. Because you may end up holding a worthless item.
