This is a fun topic.  Bitcoin has changed my life in quite a few ways.  I would have to say however the number one way it has changed my life is by all of the good friends I have met along the way.  I am most active in the collectibles board here as I am a coin collector, and I've met a lot of close buddies over the year all over the globe.  I've met some, spoken over the phone to some, and plan to travel overseas to meet some as well.  Bitcoin isn't even remotely just about "profits" for me.
