The highest price of Ethereum this year in my opinion is the one that occurred last May which was $4.168K (

Maybe according to my observations, the end of this year the highest price of $4K Ethereum. That's if it happens.
Well everything can happen in cryptocurrency market, and I believe the price of ethereum will increase by the end of this month. First stage is to reach $4,000 and then we can hope for more such as $5,000.
But your opinion is right, I also think it will be difficult to reach $5,000 but I want to stay positive about it.
