Dear Community Members,
 
The team has received an electronic correspondence asking and recommending that we stop using any Cardano related terminology in our project. The correspondence leans heavily on trademark best practices and laws, and after reviewing the referenced material, we agree with the received request and recommendation.
 
After internal and external consultations, we have decided to proceed with a rebranding of the project. This means a new name, logo, documentation, ANN thread, social channels, etc. This also means that we will have to deploy a new smart contract with a different name/ticker, but same features (this also comes with pulling liquidity to allocate to the new token).

We want to make it clear – rebranding does not mean abandoning the project. We are still working behind the ultimate goal of deploying a cross-chain bridge that allows seamless and costless transactions across multiple blockchains.
 
By the time you’re reading this statement, we’ve already informed our partners (ex: signature campaign and community managers) of this situation we are in and the direction we are taking. All financial obligations to our partners (and their teams) have been met and can be verified by the community as necessary (ex: if you’ve participated in our signature campaign, you will be fully reimbursed for the full week).

There are several community members who have already swapped their BNB with our ADAL token (BEP-20), some with considerable investment. We want to give community members the necessary time to swap back their BNB prior to pulling liquidity. Therefore, please consider this statement as an official announcement requesting that all early supporters to swap their ADAL token back to BNB. We will maintain liquidity for the next 14 days (deadline: October 1st). This announcement will be posted on all of our social channels and shared with all of our partners. We will also be sharing this statement directly with senior community members.

If you are a community member who is unable to swap back your BNB in the allocated period, the team will ensure that you get compensated by either a 1:1 distribution from our new token or USDT/BNB equivalent of the ADAL you’ve acquired. Please reach out to us directly in case you find yourself in this situation.

We apologize for any inconvenience or mistrust this statement and announcement may cause. However, we want to maintain transparency with the community and ensure alignment on our future path. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to us on Telegram, we’ll maintain the channel while we work on the rebranding.
 
We expect rebranding to be completed within the next week or two. Once rebranding is complete, we will share relevant updates on this thread as well as announce it on our existing social channels. A new ANN thread will be floated, and a reference will be made to the existing ANN thread in any new material that we develop.

Again, we maintain our ultimate goal of delivering our project. Please be on the lookout for updates in the very near future.
