Ethereum is # 2 leading crypto currency on coinmarketcap and in my opinion has the strongest use case in crypto space so achieving 5K price is not a big milestone for Ethereum to achieve but I think it will only happen when Bitcoin breaks 50K and stays above it for one week then the whole Alts market can go Bullish and Ethereum will be the first one to get price hike.
Ethereum will reach above $5k if bitcoin price break it's previous ATH. But I don't think it will happen in this month. Although anything may happen, but the price of ETH still in the same range as it was at the start of this month. Ethereum price movement was showing some good sign to reach at new ATH but it has fallen down again. Most probably the $5k mark will be achieved by ETH on next month.
Just like what you said, it's still unsure that ETH may reach $5K after this month, Bitcoin still influencing entire market
and with that, it's important to see Bitcoin to rally up first before we expect any coin to jump high. The chance of seeing ETH
hitting $5K maybe more possible before this year ends.
Once we see more good news and more investors to start moving their money into this market, expect that ETH is one of those that will move first alongside with Bitcoin.
