Blocks are being mined about 100x faster than they should be and your diff algo cannot keep up. This is what happens with SHA coins in today's world of Terraminers, when your coin's source code is nothing more than a copy of Bitcoin with a few parameters changed.
Current diff is 4096, next will be 16384, next will be 65536 - diff can only go up by 4x per adjustment but it needs to go up by about 100x
Later on, this will lead to hours-long block times because the coin got so far ahead of schedule in the early hours/days of mining. Diff will continue to go up even while hashrate goes down.

I agree with you, 400% diff re-target rate that was coded for BTC is not good choice for new SHA-256 coin nowadays, with modern ASICs hashrate. Thank you.
