Tottenham played good for the 1st half and surprised me. They had a very intense pressing which lasted for the 1st half but they could not sustain it in the 2nd half. Chelsea brought on Kante and moved to a 3 midfield which I think was the tactical change that changed the game for Chelsea. Kante with his dynamic and constant running was running circles around a already tired Tottenham midfield. Chelsea only had to dominate around 15 minutes of the 2nd half to get 2 goals while Tottenham did not get close to scoring for the entire 45 minutes that they were on top of the game.
Tottenham collapsed too easily after the first goal from Silva. They lost control and gave Chelsea chances to score two more goals. This match is another one to show that Tottenham can not compete for titles and Kane will not stay in that club after this season.
He wanted to leave in the summer but because of Levy (did not want to sell Kane) and because of a bit trouble (lack a few budget) from Manchester City, Kane had to stay in Tottenham. He is professional and contributed good so far but I believe after all, he will leave.
Chelsea are improved too much with Tuchel. In the last season, they came back and took the fourth position from Leicester City, won Champions League. However, I thought Tuchel will get issues with a long season when he begin as a coach. I could be wrong because so far Tuchel is doing his job impressively in the new season.
