Litecoin is good to hold for the long-term but this coin is not like the other coins, which can increase so high in a few years as the highest price for Litecoin was $412 on May 10 ago. So Litecoin still has a chance to rise high and probably, the price can likely increase more than $500 in the long-term. You should have the patience to hold Litecoin as the price seems slow to grow so you can buy Litecoin from now on and keep it following your plan. I have some Litecoin and still waiting for the price to increase later so I do not mind if it takes years to hit more than $500.
