Fighting corruption via a gang targeting individuals is not actually fighting corruption, it is an arbitrary way of assigning accountability to favor members of a group over individuals.

In the specific case of financial corruption for example you have to backtrack and figure out where common sense was lost. 1) People eat food. 2) Powerful clan substitutes money for food. 3) Economy becomes distorted. 4) Gang uses its leveraged control of food to strip power from individuals from outside its core ranks, by judging them 'corrupt'.

Today you have a vast global economy largely controlled by Britain derived society. China has an extensive empire of colonized and conquered tribes to rival Britain, and they are also blind to the natural weakness of empires, so they are trying to use Western corruption e.g. financial coercion etc, to favor their empire, and to 'compensate', in a Freudian way, they 'fight corruption' by targeting powerful individuals.

In the U.S., corruption is not really 'illegal' unless you do it outside the framework of British rules. When officials in the U.S. are caught in corruption, they are told 'keep your mouth shut, and don't worry'. As long as newspapers don't latch on they are safe.

So the problem starts with a fake colonial worldview, an empire imposed on conquered tribes, which defines corruption as 'opposing the success of the empire'.

If you look at how diplomacy developed, it is more or less the same across cultures so it clearly seems to be an archetypal process that was 'imprinted' before early humans dispersed.

Thousands of years ago, across the planet, there were looseknit groups which fought then established a kin relationship through intermarriage which became the basis for diplomacy.

When you have a melting pot based on colonial conquest the only way to form solid alliances is through corporate connections, military alliances etc. That doesn't work long term both for genetic reasons and because a 'new' genetic population must keep consuming fresh blood, must keep conquering, or it either retreats to a consolidation phase where it declines until it is stable or it suffers the consequences of mixing a vast number of gene pools which do not have stable surviving populations.

A very interesting experiment has never been done. If you were to look at the visible leadership of any melting pot you will usually not notice a skewed representation of this or that tribe. Melting pot empires succeed by hiding their core ethnic interests.

But if you examine the victims of melting pots, take DNA from the bodies, you will find that in cases like where China is targeting 'powerful people', they are not actually targeting powerful people, they are eliminating residual tribal threats.

Anyway, I don't oppose violence, I oppose stupid violence.
