Nice win, SMB managed to cover that handicap. CJ Perez lead SMB in scoring. He got 21 points and really help the team to take that edge.

Yup, they are going to face the number one team in the elimination round which is the TNT Katropa.
Congrats also to NorthPort for playing a very good game, it was not a walk in the park for the Beermen and they give SMB one hell of a fight. If their roster remains the same and they got a quality import next conference then NorthPort is a team to beat soon.
IMO, this series between SMB and TNT is the championship series of the conference as whoever wins this one will be the eventual AFC champion
.The winner of that series is hard to predict, but I would go with the SMB as they have proven many times that they can win and had a lot of championships playing together, I mean, the most important players are still here although they are getting older a bit.
By the way, is this series a best of 7 or 5 only?
Not sure, but most of the time the series will be best of 7,
Same with bisdak, this series is like a championship series. Whoever wins will have a better edge to win the title.
Though Meralco and Magnolia are also capable and both are doing well.
Better to watch and wait if whose team will advance to the finals. Let's enjoy each game. Very possible that the
series between SMB and TNT will go to a deciding game 7 as both are really good and well experienced.
