PD becomes redundant because Stake has what it has plus a bunch of other features. Maybe it's for the name sake.
The best way to handle this is to redirect players to Stake while still maintaining the domain. Players get bored quickly just with dice and nothing else.
Not necessarily.
I think that a lot of people are still playing on PD because of sentimental value.
After all, PD has been around for years longer and many still remember the early days of PD1, PD2 and PD3. But I do agree that Stunna's long term plans are likely to phase out PD whilst maintaining a minimum viable operation there.
I believe it is not only the sentimental value. If you are a dice gambler, why would you want to pick somewhere else if you are already here? I mean think about it, if it is dice that you are looking for then you should not really be looking elsewhere, this place is one of the first ever and they are one of the best ever as well, so why look for somewhere else?
Obviously it is not going to be that inclusive considering it is limiting, so people do leave for other places, for example go to Stake obviously but that doesn't change the fact that we are looking at a place that is best at one thing and some people want that one thing only. Surely there could be some sentimental value, but primedice is still a leading candidate for being the best dice website.
