Where I live (In Germany), you can basically return anything you bought within a few weeks in most stores.
If you damaged something or already used it up, that obviously doesn't apply but for tech stuff you just keep the receipt and return the product if you don't like it.

There are several stores in germany that offer this kind of service for their customers. They sell thousands of units of one product so they can afford just refunding to certain customers. A few weeks ago, we bought an iron (the thing you straighten your clothes with) and we specifically asked at the store (ALDI, to be specific) if we could return it if we didn't like it and we were told that we had 30 days to return it without any problems
