I have seen topics and posts around with incredible amounts of misinformation. Mostly posted by newbies as their first or second post. Most people that have been in the crypto game for a while knows to take most "news" about crypto with a grain of salt. But some people that are newer to it might fall victim to fake information or fake investment "guides" that tell you to invest in some token that is, to an experienced person, obviously a pump and dump or scam coin.
I do not know why people take everything they read as facts. This is not true in life and would not be true in crypto neither. It is obvious that we would get some misinformation because misinformation is all around us.

It is regarding politics the most, every single news outlet will tell you a lie based on which party they support and this is true all over the world, but there are misinformation regarding sports, misinformation regarding education (each nation makes their history look like they were hero's when in reality each nation has bad past) and basically in everything life is all about. So, misinformation in crypto is not something unexpected and you should be looking for the truth yourself instead of blaming your misinformed ideas on the sources.
