The outage started just before noon ET and took nearly six hours before it was resolved. This is the worst outage for Facebook since a 2019 incident. But the main thing is that BTC is never down at the moment
I don't know how it is even related! Facebook services were down due to their internal issues. So bitcoin or any other internet based services were not impacted at all. But if the internet goes down for any reason, bitcoin will also be down and we will not be able to access our wallets, no transactions will be processed, no mining will happen.
But I don't think we have seen such instances even since the inception of bitcoin.
