Nuclear-powered #Bitcoin mining facility has broken ground in Salem, Pennsylvania.
According to Talen Energy, “the project will yield approximately 1,000 construction jobs, employ approximately 50 people per building once complete”

If the main purpose of that project is going to be generating power for cryptocurrency mining (I doubt it) then that seems like an incredibly wasteful idea and it's a shame so much energy will be wasted on solving ultimately pointless calculations to earn money on the block chain. Hopefully all the blockchain mining will get faster and ultimately complete, so it can be converted into more useful purposes like powering residential or commercial properties that may have otherwise been powered by fossil fuels or non-renewables instead. However, judging by the lack of detail or background it is probably more of a clickbait type post instead of anything substantial.
