Well not hopefully, Alamzan should suit up. If not, they'll be eaten by Magnolia. Hodge can't contain Abueva at most, and in return Abueva is just toying Hodge. Plus, Sangalang and Lee on the other hand are getting the the deal done. In addition, Abueva still contributing on the scoring as well plus his effort on the defensive side. Magnolia right now, is quite a scary team, to be honest, or it's just that Meralco lacks the manpower to overthrow Magnolia?
I agree, Magnolia is a scary team at the moment with the addition of Calvin Abueva and it seems that they are going to sweep the Bolts even with Almazan around. Frontcourt and backcourt, Magnolia Hotshots have the advantage IMO so Magnolia -3.5 @1.88 is attractive for me and it's my pick for today's first game.
It's not that Bolts lacks the manpower but the skill level of its roster is just below that of the hotshot so getting a single win in this series is just a hard thing for them to do right now.
