There is always a risk that beginners and anyone will face if they want to invest in bitcoin without sufficient knowledge. If you want to recommend a friend, then it's also your responsibility to give him some basic knowledge so he understand the risks involved. I'm sure you wouldn't want to take responsibility for your friend's inability to profit and that should have been explained from the start.
That's my point in my first reply, they need to teach them and tell them right then and there that there's going to be risks involved investing in crypto that's far more dangerous than any other investment instruments but the problem is that people shouldn't force other people to get in the market and deceive them of riches and such.

I agree. Many beginners just invest seeing their friends just earn profits and invest on the same coin and tend to fall into panic sells which in turn leads to loose huge lose. So, yes it's our responsibility to smart them of risks involved in it. This would certainly make many think twice before investing. As money is involved its necessary to analyze before investing. This would eradicate many from loosing money.
