I am actually tired of so many scams and failures of many projects under the shadow of cryptocurrency...it is about time that we have to fully protect the small investors who are usually bearing the burden from scammers.
To be fair, if you use a decentralized system then you should expect things like that to happens quite frequently. If you need to rely on a third-party to make sure you don't get scammed, I think that's a bit weird. Assuming there is no intervention from a government body, it might take some time before we can see a "clean" space, but that's the price to pay if you don't want to use a controlled/monitored system.
