Except if kyc is made mandatory for deposit and withdrawal, I think VPN will help you mask behind an address where you location will be hidden and play smoothly but if kyc is needed, I'm afraid you have to search for an alternative.
KYC is mandatory in Betfair based on my research. Your suggestion regarding VPN usage is a bad one since a popular site like Betfair can easily detect its usage which could cause the punter problems later on.

I disagree. There are several great FIAT betting exchanges like Smarkets, Matchbook, Betdaq etc. However, you are right about the part about crypto betting exchanges.
