the user did not add any quotes or links, but at the same time said "Manchester Unaide announced" ... and then added a line of his own text. I just got the impression that the user abstractly shared what he learned today, adding a couple of his thoughts, but it turned out that this is literal copy/paste. What do you think can this text be considered plagiarism/c&p?
It looks like "Manchester Unaide" isn't the direct source, he copied someone else quoting Manchester Unaide from another site. I'd say it's plagiarism, but it might be the same loophole as adding a bunch of links under your post.
I checked one other post from this user:
challenge from Andorra but this is still a game that England should be expecting to win.
Google shows
StevieDay1983 as a source, but the link itself doesn't show the post anymore so I can't verify everything.
Another post:
Manchester United have reached an agreement with his Brazilian team Flamengo, regarding the loan of midfielder Andreas Pereira.
Pereira spent last season on loan with Lazio, Italy. Pereira's loan to Flamengo will be his fourth as a Manchester United player, after loaning him previously to Granada and Valencia.
Pereira most of his participation came in season 19/20 with 40 games at Manchester but the signing of Bruno Fernandes in the winter of 2020, and Donny van de Beek last summer, reduced Pereira's chances of participating primarily with the team.
It looks like it's rewritten from
goal.com.
Google gives 26 million hits when I search for "announced today".
Example:
Pharmaceutical manufacturer, Cambrex Corporation, will create 78 new jobs in Guilford County, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company will invest $30 million to expand its manufacturing center of excellence in High Point.
Adding a source is so easy!
