Monza still favoring ATauri also do you think? It would be really nice to see more different tracks or tracks altered a little more different every season also, just so cars cannot just gain competitive edge from years of practice. But it was nice to see Dutch track finally in use and of course, favoring the guy who practices it the most.
Well more tracks are being built for this. We recently heard the news of F1 races being held in Qatar. Also, there are a number of places where new tracks are being built. This will have a positive effect on two things -
1. F1 will expand to new areas and gain more followers and
2. New tracks mean a new challenge for all the teams and teams like Mercedes won't have the edge in that because of years of practice in it.
Yeah, that's really good news for the sports. Of course I totally understand why there should be tracks that are famous and pulls crowds every year Monza is the perfect example in my opinion and before we had many more in Asia (but not F1 just other levels).
But for the spirit of competitiveness, the tracks should always be challenging not because of the way they are built or the weather etc, but also because all teams are equally unfamiliar.
