I didn’t watch the match between Man United and Atalanta but I feel like even if my bet was small I would’ve probably been shouting during the second half. Lol. I mean after feeling all comfy in the first half, thinking it’s already money in my pocket and all. 
I think atalanta's fault was they focused on defending the win. They are too focused on defending. So that Manchester United is more dominant in controlling half the field with continuous attacks. If Atalanta still played like the first half, I think Manchester United will have a hard time chasing goals. In addition, Atalanta were also carried away by Manchester United's game at a fast tempo. If Atalana is able to create their own tempo, maybe 1 point can be brought home.
If you watched the match, Manchester United is dominating the game even since the first half.
It is not because Atalante were too focused on defense but the fact is that Manchester United is controlling the game (ball possession) better than Atalanta.
Second half, Manchester United played even better than the first half although Atalanta also made some great chances to score their 3rd goal but De Gea did his job quite well.
The game shows that United's midfielder are better than Atalanta's in controlling the game.
