Bitcoin is fast becoming a universally accepted cryptocurrency and truly so, it has established itself as "somewhat" parent coin to the likes of Etheruem, Litecoin, Dogecoin and many others.

The fact that this frauds been developed constantly called altcoins are been linked with Bitcoin, is one of the reasons the industry is not been taken seriously. Bitcoin is not their parent coin please because they are inferior and far less decentralized than Bitcoin. Every child should be better than their parents and not the other way round.

The only coins that Bitcoin gave birth to are those that take decentralization and privacy as their top priority and not those just been launched to ride on the hype of the market like the meme coins which their parent is dogecoin that you mentioned above. As for a global currency, we are not there yet. Bitcoin has achieve far too much for a project that is just over a decade old but far from it been a global currency although we shall get there someday.
