I think the whole James Bond franchise has turned into farce and nonsense.
It's time for the screenwriters to think more broadly, it's time for Bond not to fight enemies on earth in the form of evil intelligence services from different countries, but to go to the intergalactic level of the type - to fight aliens and their intelligence.
But why is this topic discussing the candidates for the role of Bond?
It seems that a Futuur project is being discussed and not just an epic about James Bond?
James Bond is something that is an agent, I understand that we have seen stuff like Marvel and DC that fights things that are basically otherworldly at the best case, we literally had alternative parallel universes type of situation with Marvel very recently. However you do not have to fight that type of stuff to actually be a good movie, you need to be "cool" in order to be James Bond and if you are a good cool fighter that end up with doing something like ladies man and epitome of realistic agent that could destroy evil at the same time, then you are James bond and that's good enough.
