could be a bug. looking at your post it seems that you still haven't contacted their support. it would be best to start there before starting a scam accusation. also, like what dave1 said, contact their representative through their ANN thread since receiving PMs from newbies might be disabled on his setting. TheQuin seems to be active these days so he'll most likely see your issue.
