Base on my experience I started to know first on how to even open an account and what are the things needed for it. Next, I watched some videos, read articles on how trading is being done and I haven't put money on my account I can't afford to lose (pun intended I indeed lose it because I carelessly hop onto futures trading without the basic knowledge like putting stop-loss).

Best to try demo account on spot and leverage trades before putting money in your trading account. Of course there are more than to that and throughout your journey you'll experience it.
