It all depends on what necessities you have in daily life. If you need the money right away, then I'd suggest you to spend your Bitcoin. But if you want to make large profits, then "hodling" would be the way to go. To answer your question, I only spend a small portion of my Bitcoin for goods while "hodling" the rest at a cold storage wallet for safekeeping. It's always good to spend BTC every once in a while, to help contribute to the crypto economy. If everyone "hodl" their Bitcoin without spending it, how would the economy flow? What you do with your Bitcoin is entirely up to you. As long as Bitcoin is being put to good use, nothing else matters.
