~snip~
I think it will take a coach like him to inspire the current crop that's there to fight for the clubs lost glory and status. All I can day is all the best to the legend!!
At least the financial problem is a complicated problem that is difficult for Barcelona's management to solve. Koeman's sacking seems frustrating at his poor job, but I don't think the coach was the main factor in their transition, although if I look at Koeman he did make a few mistakes early on in his arrival. Xavi selection may be a solution as well as a new problem. Indeed he is a legend, he is loved by the Barcelona public but when he becomes a coach the pressure is very different. It's possible that if he fails his fate will be like Koeman's, but I think it's worth a try. With Xavi maybe barca will also get a little cheaper price for a coach, and a Barcelona legend.
