I also have almost the same meaning as what you say because if Bitcoin can be a risk, then others can be a disaster and a nightmare, so this is what some people need to understand and especially those who say Bitcoin is risky. 
They don't know bitcoin for sure and that's why they're telling things like that.They're making themselves have that delight of choosing other altcoins than bitcoin and telling it like that. As if some of the altcoins are way less risky than bitcoin.
But in all reality, bitcoin has the assurance and less risky if you want to invest to this high risky market because bitcoin is at the top of it.
