It can take top five spot, but taking the top 5 spot doesn’t mean that it has beaten bitcoin and Ethereum, because Bitcoin and Ethereum occupies the number one and two positions respectively. And bitcoin is dominating more than 40% of the market with its market cap, while Ethereum is almost 20%.

Even though SHIB has been on a high trend this year, such a short term is not enough for it to get anywhere close to the two. We have seen so many other coins that have trended this year, and at some point they started being regarded as just normal coins. Polkadot was trend, but now people are not so obsessed with it. And that has been the same thing with Dogecoin, which started the trend for meme coins, and now it is SHIB.
