Given the size of their company, but even more important the image of Elon Musk, everything that is put into one sentence with Tesla and Elon turns into gold more or less. I wouldn't even call it manipulation to a full degree. If you are a man with such a net worth, reputation, companies in the back and popularity, it almost doesn't even matter what you say, something will happen afterwards.
