Since BTC are virtual, they obviously fulfill these functions.

Not really. On chain Bitcoin is only portable bellow 1 million times per day, which is nowhere near enough to satisfy the needs for transactions even in one small country. And even if we add Lightning Network to the equation, Bitcoin would still not be able to meet the global demand for transactions.

Bitcoin is money, but it's not ready to be a popular money yet.
