I usually don't bet on games with low tier teams in low tier tournaments with a low price pool because there i am always afraid, that the matches may be fixed.
high risk, high reward. I know people who make more money placing bets in obscure tournaments than in big events because more often than not the bookmakers won't price the matches correctly due to the lack of info (of the team, league, players, historic data, stats, etc). I wouldn't recommed this "strategy" to the average bettor, takes a lot more effort and time to make some decent bank, i'd rather stick to the popular leagues.
I will still choose to pnly bet when I really know the sports and the teams. The odds of winning in betting in random games that we don't know or understand is too risky. We alreadybat risk when betting so what more if we dont have any knowledge about it. Id been a bettor but only in games or whenever the team I support is playing.
