Yes, both teams will look to chase in my opinion because teams are chasing really big scores really easily. And the pitch certainly is helping the batsmen later on. In the first innings, there seems to be much more swing and bounce and also some spin in the pitch but in the second half, after 3-5 overs, the pitch seems to be dead. so, I think batting second is the play here. And the team batting first has to score really big. And concede nothing while bowling.
If both teams will look to chase in the final then who will bat first
( A joke)It would be difficult to choose a winner at this stage as both the teams are in good form and both haven't won the T20 World cup. New Zealand is the one team which have the habit for making to the semi finals and finals most times but unable to hold on to the title. This may be their chance to win it.
