The oldest religions in the world are the ones that are not only okay with gambling, but actually have gods related to them. I know for sure in Chinese Buddhism (which is mixed somehow with Taoism and Hinduism, long story short, Buddha with a lot of gods) there are certain gods you pray to at temples before you gamble.

The same in India if you gamble and have good luck you must pray to Lakshmi, one of the most important gods of all. 2 weeks ago we had Diwali celebrated by a lot of my colleagues and you MUST gamble on the night to impress her.
As the question that started this slight diversion was "out of curiosity which religion is okay with gambling?" thanks for being the one that was finally able to answer it.
Even though gambling wasn't as evolved as it is right now, Hermes was still considered "sort of" god of gamblers as well. Most likely because he was literally a con man who scammed Cheesy Jokes aside he was known as "trickster" basically and be able to pull one off quickly means that he could gamble and win with cheating, hence why god of gamblers basically. That was the one I know, but in any form of shape I doubt anyone prays to Hermes when gambling, nor any Indian gods neither here I hope, gambling is gambling and it is based on data and math, it is not related to any gods, even if that said god allows it or not allows it, in any case it is math that you need to pray to.
