There are two different schools of thought existing about Bitcoins. Many feel secure, and the rest are still sceptical about its legality and security. The doubt about its legality arises as Bitcoin is not regulated by any central authority like the Government. Bitcoin is regulated by a decentralized authority. At the same time, this is the prime reason behind its transparency and security. Anyone across the globe can access the public ledger storing Bitcoins and check the balances. Every Bitcoin transaction undergoes an extensive set of computer verifications following the technology of blockchain. IMHO, it is almost impossible to ignore the use and importance of Bitcoin in the future.
