Ever since Mark Zuckerburg mouthed Metaverse, it's been a feature on all new crypto projects, though it's not even been determined what exactly Metaverse will end up looking like. Zuckerburg presented it more as a vision and not something that will be implemented anytime soon.
But Metaverse is of course great for collecting investor money, especially for crypto projects where there is otherwise no substance behind it.
