Every day I read the news about the elimination, that some project has come off and all the investors have lost money. And I'm wondering why no one has tackled this problem so far?
I have only heard about some start-up from France, called CheckDot, they want to implement some kind of verification, but seriously, just one project in the world?
It would be good if you could introduce the CheckDot a bit. Here is there webiste:
https://checkdot.io/So they are a de-centralized trust protocol. I wonder how this is supposed to work in practice to avoid scams.

It looks like they can just verify smart contracts from a third party. While this would give some sense of security, it won't prevent scams or am I missing something here?
