I am usually a hodler and i am always hodling the tokens that i have bought for at least 1 year because of tax reasons, but i would never do that with meme-coins because you need to be aware that 99% of all those meme-coins will be dead within a few weeks or months. That is why i don't invest in such kind of projects. So i would recommend to sell them off pretty fast once, or if, they have made a little pump because sooner or later the price will go down again. From all those secon generation meme-coins i think that only Shiba Inu has a good chance to still be around and doing kinda well in a few years.
I do not even pay taxes for the holds that I have, until I sell it doesn't matter how long I hold it, I could hold it for one day or I could hold it for 10 years, I only pay taxes when I sell. It means I could invest 1 dollar into crypto and have 1 billion dollars and as long as I do not sell it then I do not have to pay a single dollar in taxes. This is why I hold it as long as I have to and will only cash out when I absolutely have to.

I get my salary in crypto as well which is a problem because I cash that out and only keep a small amount, which I pay taxes for as well and that's not a problem, it's understandable because we all pay taxes but at least that's on salary. I imagine if I kept all of my bitcoin earnings for the past 8 years, I would have 50+ million dollars by now, this is why I believe that I just need to hold it as long as I have to.
