IMO auctions with high starting bids are risky because they can damage the value of the coins on the resale market if no bids are received. Low starting bid leads to true price discovery. Just IMO

100% agree with this, I try to always start loaded items at face value. This also creates excitement and attention with early bids. Once someone bids once at a low price they are more likely to continue bidding.
