Why are games alone the main potential for NFTs?
It's because they're usable for the game. Unlike the NFT arts and other static NFTs, they're good like you're holding a painting and any other memorabilia and you'll only make a profit out of it upon selling it.
But with NFT games, you buy the NFT alone and that's going to be your starter that you'll use to generate income as you play the game. That's why the potential of the NFT games is very big.
Not all things have to be motivated by money. in retrospect, people are collecting a stamp, card, and even a mug. There exist the kind of people who like to collect antique things. I believe NFT have the possibility to serve that kind of people, the ability to showcase things/art and with a verifiable of ownership could become an awesome technology that many can be benefited from.
So I disagree if gaming is the main potency of NFT, not to mention, people are playing a game to have fun, not making money. Although some people monetize their gaming experience, if the core motive of people playing games is solely based on money, it won't sustain.
That is actually what NFTs are first in the market. They're the collectible arts from cryptopunks to the apes and other digital arts. There's no need for you to disagree since there's no argument that's being built here. It is that there's really the potential for the NFT games to be the market leader in terms of NFTs for which started with the craze for the arts. And there are those two type of gamers, those die hard players that are passionate about it and the other ones are those for the passion and as well as monetization.
