my first impression (as a non-programmer) is that DarkWallet would require lots of users to safeguard its decentralized trustless mixer model. The fewer people that use the wallet the less decentralized (I think). Darkcoin cannot have such a problem (right?).
I was also surprised to see they raised 50k on indiegogo to develop the browser plugin. I wasn't surprised they got it, rather that they couldn't muster 75BTC worth of fiat from friends and libertarians to get on with it. Anyhow that was in December and still nothing. So I'm not sure whats going on there or if its even happening anymore.
Not to mention Im sure Darkwallet faces some opposition in the BTC community - those who wish to appear whiter than white. Again - Darkcoin has no such opposition within its community
